Circular hike Pobershau - Reitzenhain - Böhmisch Kienhaid - Pobershau

We begin our hike in Pobershau at the hiking parking lot "Am Katzenstein." Along the edge of the forest, we follow the Katzensteinweg to the Höhenweg. We turn left onto the Pobershau wing and follow it to the Schwert wing. Here we turn right. We stay on this path until a distinctive crossroads (5 branches). There we take the left path onto Görkauer Straße, through the Mothäuser Heide, walk to the outskirts of Kühnhaide and turn right onto the Forststeig. We pass the moor educational trail and follow the Zeuggrabenweg to Reitzenhain at Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße. In Reitzenhain, we turn left over the old border crossing to the intersection of the former malt house. There we turn left onto Körnbachweg. After two kilometers, we turn left again onto the long straight road to the intersection at the former inn "Heimat" in Böhmisch Kienhaid. There, we turn right uphill, cross the intersection straight ahead at the old Czech border company, always following the power poles. At the game enclosure, we go left uphill to the seating area. Our route continues straight for another kilometer. Then we turn right onto a forest path to the border path running parallel about 200 m away on the Saxon side. We turn left onto the border path, follow it to the S216, cross it, and reach the Pockautalweg. We follow this to the Nonnenfelsen. Then we go left up the Karrenweg to the Green Ditch and follow the watercourse downstream back to the starting point.
