The 20-kilometer circular route aims for the Collm, the highest elevation in northern Saxony at 312 meters. It is a widely visible landmark in the Wermsdorf Forest.

This circular hiking trail leads through many wooded areas near Oschatz: the city park, Oschatz city forest, Collmberg, and Oschatz church forest. On the Collm, the 18-meter-high freely accessible Albertturm offers a wonderful view over the northern Saxon land. At the foot of the mountain in Collm village, the 1000-year-old lime tree at the Collm cemetery can be admired. It is the oldest lime tree in Saxony, proudly 18 meters tall and has a trunk circumference of 11 meters.
