The bike route around Leubnitz leads you through a forest-rich cultural landscape.
The region-typical hilly landscape with dense forests and wide meadows forms the setting of the "Vogtland Mill Quarter" in southwestern Saxony. Around the village of Leubnitz there used to be numerous water and windmills, which made the milling craft an important guild of the region. Today, some mills are still preserved. They are mostly used gastronomically. Nevertheless, you can follow the traces of the craft: true to the motto "hiking is the miller's delight", the Miller Boys' Trail leads interested people to all preserved mills and the relics of the once lively trade.
