The Brandbusch route as part of the main trail is easily accessible from the car border crossing to Rožany. Over 6 km, winter sports enthusiasts can ski through both forest and meadow and experience beautiful views extending to the neighboring town. The long descent along the forest edge requires some concentration.
This route, like all individual routes I – VI, is part of the main trail.
The trail is best reached from the starting point of the main trail – parking lot at the border crossing to Rožany. The route leads in a wide arc through the forest and opens up in splendid descents on the meadows that nestle around the so-called Brandbusch.
A little off the trail is the shelter "Klingerresehütte" (1), named after the landlady of a former inn beyond the border in Bohemia.
