The 60 km long circular tour takes you 1,078 meters above sea level past blooming meadows via the villages of Holzhau, Sayda, Seiffen and Neuhausen.
Silver and tin made the Ore Mountains rich. When the yield of the metals ran out, toolmaking and woodcraft ensured the livelihood of the families. Today, the Ore Mountains are a global symbol of exquisite craftsmanship. Loop 3 of the BLOCKLINE takes you to the center of the toy corner. The first stop is Neuhausen, where the Nutcracker Museum is well worth a visit. Over 5000 figures from all over the world can be admired here, as well as the largest music box in the world, which plays the music from Peter Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite on the hour. In the toy village of Seiffen, it is worth taking a look at one of the many show workshops or the Toy & Open-Air Museum, where you can marvel at the unique craft technique of hoop turning. The Wendt & Kühn World in Seiffen also invites you to marvel at the variety of the famous eleven-dot angels and flower children figures. Landscapes and places straight out of a fairy tale add an emotional splash of color to this loop.
