The starting point of the route is in Zeulenroda-Triebes, Upper Station. From here, go straight into Lohweg - turn into the foot and cycle path at the employment office and continue into Kleinwolschendorfer Straße. Then along L 2349 to Kleinwolschendorf. A visit to the old half-timbered house is recommended. Continue to the Riedelmühle forebay and drive to Pahren. From here, follow the cycle route signs to Zickra. Turn right at the fire station to Wenigenauma. In the neighboring village of Zadelsdorf, there is a bungalow village and a beach. Turn right in the center of Wenigenauma and continue towards Kühnsdorf - Merkendorf (also the planet hiking trail). Then head towards Piesigitz – Staitz – Göhren – Döhlen. In Göhren-Döhlen, a historic parsonage with a covered wooden bridge can be visited. Continue to Dörtendorf. Turn right in the village center towards Kranich – Weißendorf. A detour towards Triebes to the oldest house in town, the Winkelmann House, is worthwhile here. The cycle path continues towards Waikiki bathing world. From here, it is only a few meters to the reservoir shore with a bathing area and boat rental. The Zeulenroda reservoir invites you to linger not only in good weather. Here you can walk, swim, and pursue various leisure activities. From federal highway 94, the path leads back to the starting point Zeulenroda, Upper Station/bus station.
