Weißwasser/O.L. – Krauschwitz – Bad Muskau – Gablenz – Kromlau – Halbendorf - Weißwasser/O.L.
Your 38.5-kilometer cycling round route begins in Weißwasser/O.L., where a visit to the traditional Glass Museum, the animal park, the observation tower "Am Schweren Berg" and the Muskau forest railway is worthwhile. Upon arrival in Krauschwitz, cycle past some still inhabited half-timbered houses and one of the oldest foundries in Germany, today's Keulahütte. Relaxing and enjoying the sauna is wonderful at the Krauschwitz experience world. The highlight of your cycling route is Bad Muskau with its UNESCO World Heritage Fürst-Pückler Park. Plan a bit more time for a walk in the park or for a visit to the New Palace with the fantastic Pückler exhibition and enjoy the atmosphere of the picturesque park on the German and Polish sides. Then cycle via Gablenz to Kromlau. Here a detour to the unique Azalea and Rhododendron Park, the largest of its kind in Germany, is recommended. A stop at Halbendorfer Lake as well as at the eventful Reinert Ranch in Trebendorf are further interesting destinations along your route back to Weißwasser/O.L.
