Many visitors to Pausa make sure to visit the newly restored earth axis in the cellar of the town hall and lubricate it themselves.
A9 exit Triptis: direction Zeulenroda, from Zeulenroda on S 316 to Pausa;
A9 exit Schleiz: direction Plauen B 282 to Waldfrieden, S 318 via Ranspach to Pausa or continue on B 282 to Oberpirk, left on S 316 to Pausa;
A72 exit Plauen: Plauen B 282 towards Schleiz up to Oberpirk junction, right on S 316 to Pausa.
Parking is possible throughout the entire downtown area of Pausa without parking fees.
Pausa can be reached by bus, line T 14 Plauen-Zeulenroda, or by train (Erfurter Bahn between Gera, Zeulenroda and Hof).
