Friends of alpine hiking will get their money's worth on this tour!

From the car park at the town hall, uphill via Lindenstraße to Flöhatalstraße, turn left, then right into Mühlenweg, past the Technical Museum Ölmühle Pockau. After approx. 200 m we use the bridge over the Pockau to the left, cross the valley road and the railway line. We follow the white-green-white marking to the Talkanzel (Hohe Steine). The first ascent to the mountain peak is rewarded with a great view of Pockau. The comfortable forest path leads us further to the entrance to the alpine hiking trail.

Attention! In case of snow, icy conditions and rain the trail is not recommended! We climb the lookout rock „Talkanzel“ at 560 m above sea level. Take a rest and enjoy the fantastic view into the romantic valley of the Schwarze Pockau!

We continue hiking on green and reach the valley road, on which we walk a short distance to the left until the green-marked hiking trail leads us to the left into the idyllic Knesenbach valley. We reach the town of Zöblitz (Serpentine stone town with Silbermann organ). Here, in the valley of the Knesenbach, the return hike to Pockau begins. We turn left onto the yellow-marked "Schwarzer Weg" and return to Pockau via Vorwerk Zöblitz and along the "Allee der Jahresbäume" newly created by the Saxon Forest.

This panoramic trail invites you to stop and enjoy the distant views over the mountain ranges of the Ore Mountains ridge and the town of Zöblitz again and again.
