The Himalayas in the Eastern Ore Mountains - the 14 peaks over 8000 dm! Enjoy breathtaking views and hidden secret spots on a unique tour.

Frank Meutzner, the Saxon mountaineering guru par excellence, had the idea of bringing the eight-thousanders of the Himalayas to the Eastern Ore Mountains. And he did it!

Here with us, however, the peaks are measured in decimetres and so we have a great and interesting hiking tour in the Altenberg vacation region that connects the Erzgebirge "eight-thousanders" with each other.

From the Geisingberg to the Lugsteine and the Pöbelknochen. You can climb the 14 different peaks in many different ways. On foot, by bike or even on cross-country skis. However, you can also take a more relaxed approach and "climb" the peaks in several stages. On this tour, you can experience and enjoy the wonderful unspoilt nature of the Eastern Ore Mountains to the full. At the end of the tour, you too can claim to have scaled several eight-thousanders.
