Passion and emotion in the most beautiful scenery are guaranteed when over 1,000 participants take on the various race courses of the Three Dams Marathon on the 3rd Saturday in September every year. As these are permanently signposted, you too can follow the spirit. Start at the Bretschneider sports facility in Eibenstock and take on the 100 km loop! The highlight of the route is crossing the dam walls of the Carlsfeld, Sosa and Eibenstock reservoirs. Enjoy the view from the 1,018 m high Auersberg over the wooded mountains and valleys of the Westerzgebirge and take a break at the Blauenthal waterfall!
