It features plays for children and young people and, in the evening, performances for students and adults.
The Theater der Jungen Welt is located in the Theaterhaus am Lindenauer Markt in western Leipzig, where it has three permanent venues. In addition, the theatre bus provides a mobile kindergarten and classroom. The repertoire of the Theater der Jungen Welt comprises over 45 different plays.
