Schloss Schlettau Castle is located in the upper Ore Mountains on historically and touristically important streets: Salzstraße, Silberstraße.
The buildings were built in the 14th - 18th century in the style of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The roots of the original castle go back into the 13th century, when the first settlements took place.
The castle and the mansion lie in a beautiful park whose old trees are reflected by two ponds. The buildings house the centre for wood and game history, the trimmings show workshop, the show workshop for the production of herb-flavoured liqueur and the collection "landscape paintings from the Ore Mountains". Cultural events, concerts, weddings and other events take place in the knight's hall.
The wine cellar invites you to the historic gastronomy. In the mansion, a restaurant and a café with terrace await you.
