Weingut Schloss Proschwitz Prinz zur Lippe is the oldest privately managed winery in Saxony and is known for its high-quality wines and varied cultural program.
Wine has been grown on the Proschwitz slopes for over 850 years - today with a clear focus on quality rather than high yields. The monopole vineyards "Schloss Proschwitz" and "Kloster Heilig Kreuz" produce fruity, elegant white and red wines: White wines with a special freshness and minerality, red wines powerful and matured in barriques. The vinotheque invites you to discover the range at your leisure.
Throughout the year, the winery offers a wide range of events related to sparkling wine, wine and distillates. Guided vineyard walks, concerts, readings, exhibitions, dinner concerts and themed evenings offer a variety of insights into the world of Proschwitz wines.
Near the parking lot, a game reserve invites families to linger, while the castle garden is perfect for a stroll. The castle itself is only open for events. Not far away, the Proschwitz vineyard cottage offers a fascinating view of Meissen Albrechtsburg Castle and the Elbe valley.
