The permanent exhibition "Our History. Dictatorship and Democracy after 1945" presents the history of the former German Democratic Republic, the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 and the reunification of Germany as well as challenges the country still faces today.
Temporary exhibitions, events and educational programmes encourage discussion and participation.
