The origins of the forge date back to the 17th century. Nearly 300 years ago, the first blacksmith was documented here. Where once fire blazed and iron was shaped through hard craftsmanship, today a place has emerged where tranquility, relaxation, and well-being take center stage. The old forge has been lovingly restored with great passion so that you can enjoy the special atmosphere of this house today.
Old walls, natural materials, and lovingly preserved details tell of past times and give the house its unmistakable character. Clay plaster, modern wall and floor heating, as well as high-quality natural materials create a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. The warmth of the rooms feels not only comfortable but particularly natural and soothing – almost like a visit to grandparents in the past: calm, safe, and unhurried.
