Our vacation apartment is located in Annaberg-Buchholz in the district of Frohnau and was completed in 2025 after a complete renovation.
You have your own separate entrance as well as a private parking space in the immediate vicinity, as well as a lockable storage option for skis or bicycles.
Frohnau offers you historical sites such as the "Frohnauer Hammer" or the "Schreckenberg Ruin" as well as a variety of hiking trails. Just a few minutes' walk from our vacation apartment, you can directly access the "Firstenweg" and hike or bike to Oberwiesenthal.
A mini-golf facility with a children's playground and a café is located about 15 minutes away on foot. The recreational area "Greifenbachstauweiher" can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. Here you will find a water park, a climbing forest, numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as a swimming area with two playgrounds.
In the summer, you are also welcome to visit the outdoor pool in the neighboring district of Buchholz.
Two weeks after Pentecost, the largest folk festival in the Erzgebirge, "Die Kät," takes place in Annaberg. From Frohnau, you can see the beautifully illuminated Ferris wheel in the evening and enjoy the grand finale fireworks.
In winter, you will find cross-country skiing trails in the immediate vicinity, depending on snow conditions.
