Just a few meters from our house is the stop of the Fichtelbergbahn. From here, you can take the historic narrow-gauge railway to Oberwiesenthal or towards Cranzahl via Niederschlag and Neudorf.
A bus stop for both German and Czech regional transport is located nearby. In winter, a ski bus operates to Keilberg.
Opposite the holiday apartments is the Rodelhang Hammerunterwiesenthal. Whether you just want to go tobogganing without having to walk up the hill, or watch the kids having fun in the snow, the 300m long toboggan run offers everything. For those seeking even more action, snowmobiling is also available here.
In Hammerunterwiesenthal, you will find a convenient access point to the region's hiking and trail network. In summer, this is where your cycling tour begins.
The Philipp Melanchthon Church, built in 1899, along with its historic organ containing 90 pipes and 13 registers, is also worth a visit.
