The origins of the city of Zittau date back to the 13th century, when the city was still part of Bohemia. The city of Zittau also became known for brewing beer. Our historic building finds its roots in 1529 and is located directly at the Neumarkt. The essential substance of the present object originated around 1749, that is, in the middle of the 18th century. A majestic entrance portal from the Renaissance defines the house, as well as elements of Baroque, Biedermeier, and the Gründerzeit.
