From the large living room, you can enjoy the wide view of the countryside towards Pirna, Heidenau, and Dresden. The location is a dream for active individuals: The Malerweg trail runs directly by the house. Many hikes start right at your doorstep into the Saxon Switzerland National Park, such as to the Bastei, Wehlen, through the Uttewalder Grund, to the Teufelsschlucht, to the Wagner Monument, to Liebethal, or Porschendorf. Climbing enthusiasts can quickly and easily reach the climbing paradise of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, both by car and public transport. In winter, cross-country skiing trails and a toboggan hill are in the immediate vicinity. If you're in the mood for culture, you can reach Pirna or Dresden in a short time, ideal for day trips, old town explorations, museums, and events.
