Holiday Home
In the modern, fully furnished holiday home, there is room for up to 6 people. On the ground floor, you will find the living room with fireplace, the bathroom with shower/WC, and the kitchen. Everything necessary is available here, such as a microwave, 4-burner stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, iron, hairdryer, radio, TV/Sat, sufficient table and bedding, as well as towels.
On the upper floor, there are 2 bedrooms for 2 and 4 people.
The holiday home is equipped with a modern central heating system, and the hot water is heated electrically in the house. Additionally, there is a fireplace in the holiday home that can be fueled with your own wood, briquettes, or coal.
There is a terrace at the house, which invites you to cozy evenings or barbecues. For children, there is the opportunity to play in the garden. There is also a sandbox and a sunbathing area. Furthermore, an outdoor fireplace can also be used, which is also located in the garden.
There is no locked storage option for special luggage (strollers, bike trailers, bicycles, etc.).
Surroundings
The holiday home is located slightly away from the center of Olbersdorf in a pleasant, quiet, central location. This makes all important errands easily accessible on foot. The walking distances are:

As you can see, everyday small tasks can be completed in a short time.
Olbersdorf is located at the foot of the Zittau Mountains. Thus, the towns of Jonsdorf (7 km), Oybin (4 km), Großschönau (7 km), Zittau (5 km), Waltersdorf (9 km), and Lückendorf (7 km) can be reached quickly, which is also facilitated by a well-developed local public transport network.
A popular excursion destination is, for example, Zittau with numerous sights such as the Lent cloth, the old town, the theater, or the museum. Or also sports opportunities like the Westparkcenter or the bowling bar. But there are also options in the surrounding towns to experience plenty during your vacation and have fun. For example, the summer toboggan run in Oderwitz, the ice rink in Jonsdorf, the mini train, or the neighboring countries Poland and the Czech Republic (don't forget your passport). If you prefer a bit of sport, you can also reach these destinations by bicycle.
Numerous beautiful hiking trails lead from Olbersdorf through the Zittau Mountains to mountains like Lausche, Hochwald, and Töpfer. Along the way, you can enjoy nature and marvel at the fascinating sandstone rock formations. Many taverns with good food along the way invite you to linger.
The site of the Landesgartenschau 1999 is not far away (about 15 min). Once there, you can also take a swim in the Olbersdorfer See. Of course, you can also visit the adventure pool, which is about 100 m from the holiday home, depending on your taste.
In Großschönau, there is also the opportunity to visit a wonderful leisure and adventure pool, even in the winter months, and to relax in the sauna and solarium.
