Beer route:
The brewery building was erected in 1813. The owner at the time was hereditary judge Stölzel. Around 1855, Carl Heinrich Fiedler, who moved in from Wiesenthal, was the hereditary court owner and brewer at the same time. Emil Fiedler registered the business on 17.12.1934. His son Karl Fiedler took over the brewery, which had been shut down during the Second World War, on July 1, 1954. After extensive construction and modernization measures, beer production was resumed in the same year.
Today, the brewery employs 18 people and produces 18,000 hl of beer.The brewery looks to the future with great optimism, as many Erzgebirge residents, and not just them, are returning to their typical and tasty local beer, because beer needs a home.
The best hops, malt from Saxon malting barley and spring water from our own well in the Ore Mountains give the beer its unique taste.

Tuesdays to Thursdays, you can get to know the latest technology and the brewing process up close by appointment. Enjoy fresh Erzgebirge beer at the same time.
The tour of the brewery lasts approx. 1.5 hours and ends with a tasting if you wish.
