The private brewery "Lotters Wirtschaft" is hidden away in the Hotel Blauer Engel in Aue. It is the smallest pub brewery in Saxony and is also home to the First Aue Beer Museum. The glass brewery's range includes award-winning beers.

Lotters Wirtschaft

Enjoy our home-brewed beer in the cozy atmosphere of our brewery inn. The adjoining old historic brewery cellar provides the perfect setting for a rustic evening. Let us spoil you and take you back to a bygone era.

Enjoy this journey through the world of beer brewing and treat yourself to some cozy hours with a sparkling Lotters - we bring the art of brewing into your glass! Always a pleasure when freshly tapped!

Our master brewer - He takes the time that a beer needs to mature and doesn't just leave the beer to technology and electronics and doesn't brew in a fast process. At our brewery, the hops are added by hand the old-fashioned way and every brew is stirred by hand. This is how our cellar-cloudy Lotter is created! It tastes tangy and fresh and will also delight you. Naturally, it is produced according to the German purity law and is served unfiltered. We brew Lotters Hell, Lotters Dunkel and strong beer for you.

Beer museum - our glass brewery is also the first beer museum in Auer. Here you can experience the art of brewing and history live.

We want to appeal to the senses of our guests: Smell-See-Taste-Feel

A brewery you can touch! PS: We have the largest collection of beer mugs in Saxony!

A tour of the glass brewery takes about half an hour and is offered from Monday to Saturday from 12 - 2 pm and from 5 - 6 pm.

Registration in advance is recommended.

To combat hunger, large or small, there are, for example, slices of spent grain bread or the giant brewery chop from the adjoining restaurant.
