The country inn is idyllically situated in the small village of Abhorn, surrounded by greenery and in a wonderfully quiet location. The Plohn leisure park is just a one-minute drive away.
We, the Vollmer family, have been running our small, idyllic country inn since 1990. Until 2019, our "Käsbisep", as the country inn is popularly known, was purely a catering business with employees in service and the kitchen. We are known far beyond our regional borders for our homemade bambes and green dumplings. Our inn is furnished in a rustic country style and invites you to linger. In summer you can enjoy drinks and food in our beer garden, with adjoining garden, in rural tranquility.
Since 2020 we also have rooms. Which we have painstakingly expanded and furnished with a lot of our own work. Our rooms are modern but also rustically furnished, simply cozy to feel good. We now only run our country inn as a couple and attach great importance to individuality when it comes to looking after our guests.
