Hermann Uhlig from Schlettau founded the Hermann-Uhlig-Schlettau liqueur factory on July 31, 1898. In addition to herbal specialties, a variety of different spirits complemented the product range at the time.
A drugstore with its own petrol pump was also part of the company, as was later a lemonade bottling plant from which our current beverage trade emerged, and spirits production has shaped the profile of Hermann Uhlig Schlettau from 1898 to the present day.
In 1985, the Brenner family took over the company in the 4th generation with a total of 9 employees. We consistently continue the company tradition by producing liqueur specialties according to traditional recipes, with the old methods and loving handwork, thus making a modest contribution against the region's high unemployment rate. Our familiar working atmosphere is the prerequisite for the daily enjoyment of our work.
