The brewery inn is part of the Alte Schleiferei hotel in Erlabrunn and a stop on the Erzgebirge Beer Route.

In the Ore Mountains, in the romantic Steinbach Valley at the foot of the Auersberg, lies the Hotel Alte Schleiferei, which was built on the site of a former wood grindery. The hotel complex also has its own mini brewery, which produces beer under the "Kuno-Bräu" brand. The brewery is an integral part of the restaurant, so guests can watch the beer being brewed "live". Three types of beer are brewed all year round - pilsner, dark beer and black beer. There is also a wheat beer during the summer months and a dark bock beer in winter.
If you would like to know how the delicious drinks are made and what is needed to make them, you can take part in a half-hour tour during the week and taste the beers brewed here. (advance reservation required) From May 2019, the first Ore Mountain whisky will be available to taste.
