When the days get shorter and the scent of mulled wine slowly wafts through the vineyards of Radebeul, one of the most enjoyable times of the year begins at Schloss Wackerbarth.
From November 2025 to February 2026, it will be "lights on" every evening at Europe's first adventure winery. Under the motto "Wine & Light", Schloss Wackerbarth will be transformed into a magical world of radiant splendor, music and enjoyment with its winter light decorations. Thousands of lights lend the baroque grounds and the Wackerbarthberg a special atmosphere every day from 3 pm. The light sculptures and selected illuminations as well as fairytale lanterns invite you to take a tour through the romantically illuminated grounds. Atmospheric music with Christmas sounds rounds off the enjoyment for all the senses.

From Monday to Thursday, the lights shine in the vineyards and in the baroque grounds between the castle and the Belvedere. The lanterns by Radebeul artist Bärbel Voigt depict the fantastic world of Pinocchio. From Friday to Sunday, further light installations and illuminations will be switched on throughout the grounds.
