This winter hike leads over the Schönecker high plateau to the forelock of the Rote Mulde and over the quality hiking trail Kammweg Erzgebirge - Vogtland back to the romantic Meiler area.
Start at the IFA holiday park via the sandy path, past the Neuwaldteich, Rote Mulde dam, return via the quality hiking trail Kammweg Erzgebirge - Vogtland with a break at the DAV hut.

From the starting point at the IFA holiday park, past the tourist information in the hiking and cross-country ski run house, over the bridge and then left towards Meiler, cross the street to the Meiler. From the kiln in the direction of Tannenhaus and then to the Rote Mulde pre-lock. This tour will be signposted for Winter Hiking Day 2020.
