You start the hike at the church uphill to the left in the direction of Floßmühler Straße. The Höhenweg trail leads you to the right to the sports field, the highest point of our tour. Along the way, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama with views of the chess village of Borstendorf, the Ore Mountains and Augustusburg Castle. Once you reach the refuge, you can see the "angel village" of Grünhainichen on the opposite mountain. After the "descent" into the valley, the Flöhatalwanderweg trail leads to the left, past the areas renaturalized in 2012, to the district of Floßmühle. At the new rest area, a plaque commemorates the Schönherr family of entrepreneurs. You can now turn left or enjoy the romance of the valley a little further on. At the next junction, turn left again uphill along the paved path towards Borstendorf.
