This tour promises an interesting motorbiking experience in Germany’s easternmost corner.

Upper Lusatia (Oberlausitz) features an unusual landscape where Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic meet and is made for motorbike tours with mountains, forests, lakes and lots of curves.

Between the Zittau Mountains and towns auch as Zittau, Görlitz and Bautzen there a numerous sights to discover such as historic houses built in the traditional style of the region that can only be found in this corner of the world. The local UNESCO biosphere reserve featuring heathland and ponds is a haven for all types of fish, white storks, grey herons and otters. You’ll encounter bilingual town signs since Upper Lusatia is home of the Sorbs, a Western Slavic people whose traditions and language are still alive here. Local customs are painting Easter eggs in very artistic ways, pottery or blue-dyeing.

Zittau is famous for a special treasure, the Big Lenten Cloth from 1472 as well as the Small Lenten Cloth. From here, serpentines galore lead up to Mount Oybin and Mount Hochwald featuring views on Bohemia that are unmatched.
