Vom Plessberg zum König des Erzgebirges dem Klinovec erwarten Euch 26 Kilometer und 860 Höhenmeter!
The ride starts on a fairly steep stretch, hence lower your saddle! From the settlement Lípa (Lindig) the route leads via Mariánská along a minor road and the Eliásuv Potok stream. It is an easy-going descent, which ends in Jachymov (672 metres, the oldest radon bath in the world), the birth place of the “Taler“ and later “Dollar“. From here the longest uphill rise begins (approx. 600 m elevation gain) up to the highest peak of the Ore Mountains, the 1,244 m high Klínovec (metamorphic sedimentary rocks). The lookout tower, built in 1884, has been restored in 2013, the mountain hotel will also be reconstructed.
