Starting from the station grounds, we turn left and cross under the huge Lößnitzer Straße motorway bridge until we come to a bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde about 100 meters further on, which we cross and after another 100 meters turn right into Schlemaer Straße. We follow the road, which turns into Auer Talstraße from Bad Schlema. About 500 meters after the huge spoil tip, which we pass on the left, we keep slightly to the right and pass the Bad Schlema train station. We follow the main road. After just under 2 kilometers, we cross the Zwickauer Mulde and ride parallel to the railroad tracks for another 3 kilometers. Shortly after entering Hartenstein, we cross the railroad tracks to the left and shortly afterwards reach the impressive Stein Castle. We keep left behind the castle, cross the Zwickauer Mulde again and turn right again immediately after the bridge. Follow the road until you reach the entrance to Langenbach, where you first have to overcome a steep climb. At the top of the village, we turn right into Wildenfelser Straße. After 500 meters, we keep left in the bend to the right. We pass the allotment site on the left, follow the path and after about 3 kilometers cross the railroad tracks, which we now follow in parallel. At the Wiesenburg stop, we cross the tracks again on the left and shortly afterwards turn right past the station towards Silberstraße. At the end of the T-junction at the sports field, we turn left, cross the B 93 and continue straight ahead into Lindenallee, which leads into a gravel path until we reach the village of Haara. From here, we take the road downhill to Wilkau-Haßlau, passing under the highway bridge. We follow the road and then turn right onto Kirchberger Straße. After 300 meters we go straight ahead and leave the main road before the bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde. We keep to the railroad tracks. Shortly before entering Cainsdorf, we cross the tracks on the right and immediately turn left again without changing sides. From here, we cycle along the Mulde promenade close to the river into the heart of Zwickau.
