Flöhtalweg
Flöhatalweg
The hike takes you uphill from the Flöhatalweg to Grünhainichen. Turn left and wander through mountain meadows with a view of the Flöha valley. The trail continues to Börnichen and the Schwarzmühle mill. Benches and tables invite you to take a break. Walk back along this path until you reach the "Schaukelbrücke" (now a wooden bridge). After crossing the bridge, you have the choice of turning left and following the high path to Borstendorf (views of the village or as far as Augustusburg Castle) or turning right. Here you pass through the district of Floßmühle, uphill in Borstendorf towards the Leubsdorf colony. At the forest, turn left onto the chess trail and continue along the valley cut to the railroad station.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Dear hikers, dear guests,
Due to the heavy bark beetle infestation, logging work is currently taking place in the forest area around the Fuchsturm in the Grünhainichener Flur.
As a result, some sections of forest and hiking trails have been affected. They are passable - please be careful when walking.
They are currently unsuitable for cycling!
Please note possible closures by the logging company.
This primarily affects a section of the yellow-marked hiking trail.
We ask for your understanding.
The forest paths will be repaired once the logging work has been completed.
