Glück-Auf-Brewery Gersdorf
Glück-Auf-Brewery Gersdorf
You start this hike at the Glückauf brewery in Gersdorf and follow the main road to the Siedlerweg. Continue along this road until you reach a vantage point from where you can see as far as Oelsnitz. Back on the main road, walk approx. 200 m and then turn right up Kaisergrubenstraße to the former Kaisergrube I and II mines with rest areas and views. Via Haldenweg, the path leads to Plutostraße and the former Pluto and Merkur shafts. The route continues along the Schachtteichweg to Garnstraße and then to Teutoniaweg. Passing the
shaft houses, you return to Gersdorf and walk along the main road to the Glückauf brewery.
