The route takes you through the historic old town along the most beautiful fountains and water features. During the tour, you will pass various water features and fountains – from the smallest tubs, such as the "Milk Cans" or the "Bathing Children," to the much larger fountains, like the "Shell Minna" at Postplatz or the water ribbon at Marienplatz. Not only tubs and fountains, but also many sights are to be discovered.
Water lovers should definitely take a look from the old town bridge down to the Neiße. Since 2004, this bridge has connected the Polish and German parts of the city. And if that is not enough, you can travel out of the city to Berzdorf Lake. The lake is about 6 km from Görlitz and offers a water surface of 960 hectares. Watersports enthusiasts such as surfers, sailors, and stand-up paddlers can fully indulge their passion at Berzdorf Lake.
