Starting point in Großolbersdorf: Parking lot at the town hall, hiking sign in front of the town hall left uphill until GH "Zur Silberstraße", left towards Scharfenstein, after the sports field turn right and follow the Plattenstraße (red markings) for 1.5 km, uphill until the junction at the Lindenbaum with bench and signpost (wonderful views of the Erzgebirgskamm), left 1.5 km in the direction of Hohndorf until the junction with Schulweg, left downhill to Bäckerei Beyer, then left along Dorfstraße to the B 174 at the entrance to the village, cross it (watch out for heavy traffic), then uphill on Waldstraße to the edge of the forest, turn right onto Plattenstraße and continue until the junction with Siedlungsstraßee, turn left to Alte Marienberger Straße, cross it and follow the cycle path to Krumhermersdorf (unique view of the Zschopau valley and Augustusburg Castle), after 2 km cross the main road in Krumhermersdorf and cycle 2 km in the direction of Bornwaldstraße, Feldgüter, Straßenhäuser, cross the road at the "Bornwaldschänke", cross the road, head towards Bornwald (marked yellow), after 500 m turn left at the refuge (marked green) until you reach the junction with the asphalt road in Krumhermersdorf.Turn right downhill for 2 km to the fork, cross the bridge in the direction of Obere Talsperre and continue on the asphalt road for approx. 2km, detour to the dam (rest area), ride over the dam wall and back to the asphalt road, from there along the dam (marked in green) to the "Halfterhäuser" junction, turn right approx. 2 km to the Halferhäuser, cross the B 174 (watch out for heavy traffic) in the direction of Großolbersdorf, follow the yellow-green markings for 2 km, turn onto Heinzebankstraße.Turn onto Heinzebankstraße, past the cemetery (visit Karl Stülpner's grave), Schulstraße (visit the village museum, opposite the cemetery) to the town hall square (past the church). Starting point reached.
