A top-class German Cross-Triathlon Championship, an enormous international participation in the XTERRA Germany, an exciting and well-staged short track race as the opener on Friday and many beautiful moments during the popular sport competitions - that was the O-SEE Challenge 2022. Many still have fond memories of the beaming, mud-smeared faces at the finish.
This scenery can be repeated in exactly the same way in 2023, because once again the Zittau Mountains Nature Park invites you - to the O-SEE Triple 2023.
Starting with the 7th edition of the O-SEE Open Water Race on 8 July 2023, the O-SEE invites all newcomers, recreational athletes, families and children from the age of 8, but also for experienced swimmers and triathletes. The whole thing will take place in the Olberdorfer See, which has already become legendary through the O-SEE Challenge, better known under the synonym O-SEE, against the picturesque backdrop of the Zittau Mountains. The swimming event with distances ranging from 350m to the top class of 5.6km leaves nothing to be desired for open water swimmers.
The next highlight will be the O-SEE Challenge and the XTERRA Germany 2023 from 18.08. - 20.08.2023 on the last holiday weekend in Saxony. The 23rd O-SEE Challenge as an event highlight of the summer season in the Zittau Mountains invites families as well as all sports enthusiasts to join in, cheer and cheer on. Thus, on the third weekend in August, the Zittau Mountains will once again be transformed into a world-class competition area with international competition flair, as the main competition can once again be used as a qualifying race for the XTERRA World Championships in addition to the DM ranking.
To complete our club series O-SEE Triple, registration for the O-SEE ULTRA TRAIL will start on 05 May 2023. The 5th edition of the trail run, which is hard to top in terms of scenery, will take place on 14 October 2023 and there is an innovation in this context: On 15 October our first O-SEE Canicross will celebrate its premiere! The demand in the last few years for competition as a human-dog team was huge, so we didn't want to close our minds to it any longer and are now testing this competition format for the first time. We hope that it will meet your taste and that you will now sign up in large numbers with your beloved furry noses.
