Family guided tour "On the trail of the Native Americans" at the Karl May Museum

At a glance

The Karl May Museum in Radebeul brings the cultural heritage of this unique writer to life in an authentic way at the place where he worked.

Karl May's Native Americans sprang from his imagination. But who are the real Native Americans? Come along on a journey through time and accompany the French adventurer Gaston Lafayette on an expedition through the West of North America 200 years ago. Together you will learn more about the Native American tribes, their way of life and their encounters with people from Europe. Did all Native Americans live in tepees? What could never be missing on a journey through the prairie? And what do Native Americans actually do today? In our family guided tour, you will follow the trail of the Native Americans and explore these and other exciting questions. The tour is aimed at parents and grandparents with children and grandchildren between the ages of 5 and 12.
