For the Earth into Space: Special Exhibition "ALL.DAILY!" at the Chemnitz Industrial Museum

On the one hand, developments from space are an indispensable driver of innovation and open up new markets; on the other hand, they have long since arrived in everyday life. Many people are not or only barely aware that technologies they use almost every day as a matter of course and which help them to live, learn, work or be mobile better originate from space research.

Daily weather reports, solar power, the Velcro fastener and precise navigation systems - we owe all these innovations to space technology and space research. The special exhibition "ALL.DAILY!" allows visitors to experience first-hand the extensive transfer of technologies from space to Earth.
The exhibition highlights five areas of life and conveys one central message: research in space and space leads to innovations that have a direct impact on our lives on Earth. This is illustrated by the following topics:

- Living & Working
- Health & Nutrition
- Travel & Leisure
- Mobility & Communication
- Knowledge & Education
Over 40 concrete examples of innovations, technologies and applications impressively underline that investments in space are at the same time investments in our common future. They illustrate that developments from space are an indispensable driver of innovation and open up new markets.

The exhibition was conceived as part of the INNOspace® initiative of the German Space Agency at DLR. As a touring exhibition, the INNOspaceEXPO "ALL.DAILY!" has already been on display at many locations throughout Germany and in German-speaking foreign countries since 2015.
