Delitz Advent Market 2024 - Time to enjoy
A pre-Christmas land of milk and honey awaits visitors to the Delitzsch Advent market from 6 to 8 December 2024. Experience the magic of the pre-Christmas season on the Loberstadt market square. International culinary delights, handicrafts and a varied family programme ensure an Advent weekend to enjoy. Specialities such as trdelník, macarons, Salzwedeler Baumkuchen, nougat de Montélimar, poffertjes, fudge, flamed salmon and lángos await guests at more than 80 stalls.
In the midst of the festive atmosphere on the lavishly illuminated market square, glassblowers, ceramicists, wood designers, fashion manufacturers and basket makers, among others, present their unique handmade items and intricate work. Christmas tree decorations, Christmas pyramids, chocolate made from camel's milk, handmade soaps and more can be admired in the weather-protected indoor area of the "Markt Zwanzig" event centre. On the market stage, there will be a continuous programme of live music by the bands "Four Roses", "PlanZwoo", "Golden Mary" by Björn Martins and the "Trio Prestige" from Kiev. In addition to carousel and train rides, the wooden play mobile on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will make children's eyes light up.
