Due to the great demand, the course programme for this year's bobbin lace days was already published in spring and will make the hearts of bobbin lace enthusiasts beat faster.
Whether for beginners or advanced, classical, international or modern - around the event time in September, creative hearts of the lace art can deepen their knowledge and learn new techniques.
Where the childhood home of lace publisher and coal and steel entrepreneur Barbara Uthmann once stood, the art of lace making is still demonstrated and passed on today. The two-day courses during the Lace Days offer the opportunity to welcome nationally renowned lecturers to Annaberg-Buchholz.
The following courses are available:
Course I: Christmas decoration and jewellery with Birgit Härtel from Dresden (two-day course)
Course II: 8-petalled flower in Russian technique with Galina Tihonova from Schmidmühlen
Course III: Rast change part 1 linear with Marianne Geißendörfer from Uffenheim
Course IV: Lace technique drop by drop Cantu with Steffi Schmat from Schneeberg
There are no limits to your own creativity in all courses. The leaders, together with Claudia Harnisch, the project manager, are looking forward to excellent course results.
