Roll out the red carpet: on 2 October 2023, the gates of the Leipzig Opera will open for the 28th Leipzig Opera Ball. Around 2,000 guests, including personalities from politics, business and culture, will celebrate together into the Day of German Unity. This year the ball is dedicated to the partner country Sweden. Guests can look forward to culinary delights, art and culture typical of the country - in the ballroom and on six other stages in the strolling area. With the raffle in favour of the foundation "Leipzig hilft Kindern" (Leipzig helps children), the focus is also on charitable causes to support social projects for children and young people in the region. For the tenth time, the city's most important social event is presented by Porsche.
